Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on local and regional routes within the Nashville area.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good mechanical condition.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B (Class A preferred for regional routes).
- Current Medical Card and DOT physical.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (local experience preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
