Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to designated routes in the New York metropolitan area.
- Unload and organize cargo at customer locations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and customer signatures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery issues or delays.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in local delivery or logistics.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of New York City streets and traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
