Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver freight to designated stops throughout the Fresno metropolitan area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment (pallet jacks/dollies).
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and vendors while ensuring cargo integrity.
- Report mechanical issues immediately to fleet management to minimize downtime.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clear driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
