As a Route Driver, you will be the face of our company, delivering goods to businesses and residential customers throughout the Denver metro area. We offer competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Safe Operations: Operate commercial delivery vehicles in a safe, courteous, and legal manner on assigned routes.
- Customer Service: Deliver products to customers in a professional manner, ensuring satisfaction and handling any questions or concerns.
- Load & Unload: Securely load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are accounted for and placed in the correct location.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and receipts, accurately and on time.
- Route Adherence: Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure on-time deliveries.
Qualifications
- CDL Required: Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Medical Card: Current DOT medical card is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred; local delivery experience is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Denver and surrounding area roads and traffic patterns.
- Record: Clean driving record and excellent communication skills.
