Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight to customers across the Denver metro area in a timely manner.
- Asset Protection: Inspect the vehicle before and after every shift to ensure it is in excellent mechanical condition and report any issues immediately.
- Cargo Handling: Safely load and unload trailers, ensuring cargo is secured and free from damage during transport.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with customers, ensuring high satisfaction levels.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts, mileage logs, and daily inspection reports.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required; Class A preferred.
- Driving Record: Clean driving abstract with no more than two (2) moving violations in the past three years.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable experience in local delivery or logistics.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and endure long periods of sitting and walking.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use handheld scanners and radio equipment.
- Residency: Must reside within a reasonable commute of the Denver, CO distribution center.
