Responsibilities
- Operate a delivery truck to transport goods to designated stops along a predetermined route.
- Unload and load merchandise safely and efficiently using proper equipment.
- Verify and collect payment or obtain signatures for delivery receipts.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and ensure professional appearance at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a commercial driving or delivery role.
- Clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning.
