As a Local Route Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their freight safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on local routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (BOLs, delivery receipts).
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
