Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle to ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to designated stops.
- Load & Unload: Properly load, secure, and unload freight using hand trucks, dollies, or pallet jacks.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, answer questions, and handle any delivery discrepancies.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, bill of lading, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Background: Clean driving record (MVR) and background check.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Ability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
