Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in a local delivery capacity.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Plan and follow efficient daily routes to meet delivery deadlines.
- Interact professionally with customers at delivery sites.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Complete accurate paperwork and delivery logs (Bills of Lading).
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable local driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
- Strong customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
