As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely delivering packages to our residential and commercial customers. If you have a clean driving record and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle to deliver packages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Obtain and verify signatures for all deliveries to ensure accurate completion of the route.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and adhere to all company appearance and safety standards.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring they are not damaged during transit.
- Utilize handheld technology (tablets/phones) for route navigation and proof of delivery updates.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Reliable access to a smartphone for route updates and communication.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and diverse neighborhoods.
