Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs (ELD compliant)
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery timelines and route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of NC/SC road networks
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexible schedule including overnight trips
- Willingness to operate in various weather conditions
