Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients and handling packages with care.
- Manage and maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and delivery receipts.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) must be presented.
- Must have a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of GPS and navigation systems.
