Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various road conditions.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security and integrity.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and logbooks in strict accordance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent serious violations.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT card) or ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
