Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds) within DC metro area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and documentation
- Handle time-sensitive deliveries with punctuality
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle appearance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of DC metro traffic patterns and routes
- Basic navigation skills (GPS familiarity required)
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
