Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods throughout the Richmond metropolitan area.
- Load and unload merchandise using pallet jacks and hand trucks, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, delivery receipts, and vehicle inspection reports.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle returns or complaints.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or valid state driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate maps and GPS systems independently.
