Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Colorado Springs metro area.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time windows to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers, verifying signatures and handling inquiries.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Assist with loading and unloading merchandise from the delivery van.
- Follow all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid state-issued Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information and tracking.
- Strong knowledge of the Colorado Springs area or willingness to learn local routes quickly.
- Reliable vehicle access (if not using a company-provided fleet).
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality.
