Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to local addresses within Tucson metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions and resolve delivery issues professionally
- Manage inventory and handle cash transactions for COD deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery windows
- Pass background check and drug screening (required)
- Knowledge of Tucson streets and surrounding areas preferred
- Excellent communication skills and professional appearance
