Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages, food, or goods within Sacramento County
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure safe operating conditions
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes based on traffic/weather conditions
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate manual transmission
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous delivery or logistics experience preferred
