Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated addresses in Oakland and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and placed in the correct order.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Update delivery status via mobile app and maintain accurate logs.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable personal vehicle suitable for commercial delivery (or access to a company vehicle).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with smartphone apps.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
