Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles (vans, box trucks, or straight trucks) to deliver products to customers in and around San Jose.
- Load and unload goods efficiently using pallet jacks and hand trucks, ensuring items are secure for transport.
- Verify delivery accuracy, obtain signatures, and provide exceptional customer service at every stop.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C (or B) Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading.
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
