Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Box Truck/Step Van) on assigned local routes.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently while ensuring cargo security and proper handling.
- Interact professionally with customers, verify delivery accuracy, and obtain signatures.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area at all times.
- Handle all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs, bills of lading, and invoices.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no more than 1 major violation in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a logistics or delivery role.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Must reside within a reasonable commute of Pittsburgh, PA.
