Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe, legal, and professional manner on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring weight distribution is correct to maintain vehicle stability.
- Complete all necessary delivery documentation, including bills of lading (BOL) and delivery receipts, accurately and on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck and trailer are in top operating condition.
- Provide excellent customer service and handle any delivery issues or customer inquiries professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area, adhering to company and DOT cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions associated with loading/unloading.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety procedures.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
