Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on over-the-road dedicated routes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo with care to ensure product integrity.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT hours-of-service (HOS) rules and regulations.
- Excellent time management, navigation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
