Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle (van or box truck) on local routes within Charlotte and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and dollies, ensuring secure placement.
- Deliver packages to commercial and residential addresses with a focus on punctuality and care.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling questions and feedback with a positive attitude.
- Inspect vehicle condition before and after each shift, reporting any maintenance needs immediately.
- Complete digital logs, delivery receipts, and paperwork accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean, organized cab and cargo area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driverβs License (Class C preferred) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the Charlotte, NC area geography is a significant plus.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for digital logging systems.
