Responsibilities
- Safely load, secure, and transport freight within the assigned route.
- Ensure all cargo is delivered on time and in excellent condition.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the truck and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers and receivers.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs, accurately and promptly.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
Qualifications
- Own and maintain a reliable Class C Box Truck (GVW 26,000 lbs or less).
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not always required depending on cargo.
- Current Commercial Auto Insurance (Minimum $1M Liability).
- Excellent driving record with no recent DUIs or serious moving violations.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs (if applicable).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
