Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Boston metro area in a safe and timely manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accuracy before proceeding to the drop-off location.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of the delivery vehicle.
- Handle customer interactions with a friendly, professional demeanor and resolve any delivery issues on the spot.
- Inspect the vehicle for damage and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Accurately log delivery attempts and customer signatures using the mobile app.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 minor violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Access to a reliable, registered, and insured vehicle suitable for local deliveries.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with smartphones for navigation and logging.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
