As a key member of our logistics team, you will ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to our valued customers across the Lincoln area.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles (Class B) to transport goods to designated delivery points.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload merchandise using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed.
- Interact professionally with customers, receiving orders, and ensuring total satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and delivery paperwork.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and route plans.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial setting.
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude.
