Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided delivery vehicles on established local routes within Wichita and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo using provided equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to ensure safe transport.
- Verify delivery accuracy, inspect cargo for damage, and obtain proper customer signatures.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reporting.
- Manage inventory counts and ensure paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy for logging mileage and delivery data.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
