Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transport.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain customer signatures for all deliveries.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, answering questions and resolving issues as they arise.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels, before and after routes.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record free of major violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong navigational skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively.
- Reliable personal vehicle available for local errands (if required) or access to company fleet.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with the public.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
