Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout Miami-Dade County and Florida
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Deliver freight to commercial clients with precision and professionalism
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and time management
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Miami metro area and Florida highway systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
