Responsibilities
- Operate company-provided commercial vehicles for safe, efficient freight transport across designated routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with precision and adhere to securement protocols per DOT regulations
- Optimize delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Uphold strict safety standards and compliance with all transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong understanding of freight securement and weight distribution
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Must reside within 50 miles of Albuquerque, NM
