Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize packages onto the delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Safely transport packages to designated residential and commercial addresses within the Chicago area.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures as required by the client.
- Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions and handling returns.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or delivery issues to the dispatcher immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically fit and able to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience with handheld scanners, GPS devices, or mobile apps is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable personal vehicle or eligibility to drive a company vehicle.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
