Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in the Boston metro area with accuracy and timeliness.
- Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring cargo is secured properly.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures where required.
- Practice exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and knowledge of local roads to optimize delivery routes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the warehouse and on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Familiarity with the Greater Boston area and local traffic patterns.
- Reliable personal vehicle (or willingness to use company vehicle).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and checking schedules.
