Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated customer locations.
- Load and unload cargo using dollies, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, ensuring items are secure.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company brand.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Manage delivery paperwork, including logs and receipts, accurately and on time.
- Provide exceptional customer service by handling deliveries with care and courtesy.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (Class A/B/C preferred).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate local routes efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
