Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to residential and commercial locations within Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring all items are secured and undamaged.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and providing excellent service.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices/apps to manage delivery status and paperwork.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred but not always required for local routes.
- A clean driving record with no recent DUIs or major violations.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong communication skills and basic computer literacy for using delivery apps.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for pre-shift and post-shift travel.
