Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages within designated Houston routes
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Maintain daily vehicle inspection logs and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Load/unload packages with proper lifting techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status and concerns
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse operations when needed
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Houston metropolitan area geography
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication apps
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
