Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport products to local commercial and residential destinations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and log maintenance requirements.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured and handled with care.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Manage and maintain accurate delivery paperwork and digital logs in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is a plus but not mandatory for local routes.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
