Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company-provided delivery vehicles to transport equipment and goods to designated local addresses in Washington, DC.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring proper handling of equipment and preventing damage.
- Interact professionally with clients, vendors, and team members to maintain high standards of customer service.
- Accurately complete digital delivery logs, timesheets, and delivery paperwork.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Navigate complex urban routes efficiently using GPS systems.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50-75 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and checking schedules.
