Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided delivery vehicles to transport goods within Pittsburgh and surrounding areas
- Load/unload packages efficiently using provided equipment (hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Verify delivery accuracy and maintain detailed delivery records via our mobile app
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Perform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while adhering to traffic regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and company equipment
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate delivery equipment
- Strong knowledge of Pittsburgh area streets and traffic patterns
- Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Reliable smartphone with data plan for route communication
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening as required
