Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations throughout New Orleans
- Operate company-provided delivery vehicles including refrigerated trucks and cargo vans
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and timely deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks on company equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and optimize routes
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans streets and neighborhoods
- Basic proficiency with mobile devices and delivery scanning systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while following company safety protocols
- Pass background check and drug screening
