Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/vans) in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Uphold strict safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license required
- Minimum 1 year driving experience (or CDL school graduate)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
- Must be at least 21 years old
