Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Manage cargo loading and securing procedures to prevent damage.
- Accurately complete logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) in accordance with federal laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and changes.
- Maintain a clean and safe driving record at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT compliant).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle cargo loading duties.
