Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided delivery vehicles (vans, trucks, refrigerated units) to transport goods
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery deadlines
- Verify shipment details, maintain delivery logs, and obtain proper signatures
- Inspect and report vehicle/equipment maintenance needs before/after routes
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle basic inquiries
- Adhere to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and delays
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Austin metro area
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route apps and communication
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
