Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to local Reno addresses using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Optimize delivery routes using provided GPS technology to maximize efficiency
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding delivery status and resolve delivery issues
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving or delivery experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Reno, NV area
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to and from our Reno terminal
