Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in Mesa and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Verify delivery contents against manifests and obtain customer signatures upon successful delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance for both the vehicle and personal conduct.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform pre-trip inspections.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
