Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages throughout Madison and Dane County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions
- Load/unload packages with proper handling techniques
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 60 pounds
- Strong knowledge of Madison area streets and neighborhoods
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route apps
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexible availability (including some weekend shifts)
