Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Chicago metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon request
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes for efficient delivery while adhering to traffic regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at warehouse and delivery locations
- Uphold company standards for cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations within 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during shifts
- Strong knowledge of Chicago neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills
