Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and merchandise to designated Miami locations using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points
- Handle fragile or temperature-sensitive items with proper care protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate manual/automatic transmissions
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery windows
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Knowledge of Miami-Dade County road networks a major plus
