Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods throughout Madison and Dane County
- Load/unload deliveries with attention to inventory accuracy and item safety
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and obtain proper customer signatures
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely service and fuel efficiency
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and challenges
Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to safely lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Strong knowledge of Madison streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Must pass background check and drug screening
