Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or supplies to local businesses and residences in Reno
- Plan optimal routes using GPS technology to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures when required
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicle to ensure operational safety and cleanliness
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve any delivery issues promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delivery status and address route challenges
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong knowledge of Reno streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication skills with diverse customer base
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass background check and drug screening
